Chuck Vs. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

[The episode opens on a Friday with the song Taking Care of Business by Bachman Turner Overdrive(BTO) as you see shots of the Santa Monica Pier, Dodger Stadium, and Baldwin Park leading to a montage of clips inside the Buy More of all the employees hard at work on Big Mike’s last day. You then cut to after store hours with the entire staff lined up in front of the info desk and then the camera pans to Big Mike’s office door opening with the big man walking with his Marlin that he bought from eBay. Right behind him, following at a safe distance in order to not bump into him or the marling itself, is Chuck who is wearing a yellow button down shirt similar to Big Mike’s. Big Mike and Chuck stop at the info desk where the big man starts to talk but then realizes that the employees are staring at the marlin instead of him. Big Mike proceeds to hand Chuck. who is standing near Casey, his marlin all-the-while give him a glaring look as if to say break it or break you. Chuck puts the Marlin safely on top of the info desk and after a few seconds Big Mike speaks to his minions one last time]
Big Mike: [reflective tone as he paces back and forth]Listen up you nitwits…I’m not big on making speeches…[cut to all the employees chuckling under their breathe and then Big Mike stopping in mid sentence to stare at all of them]…Anyways, after years of working with you people I’ve come to realize one thing.
Morgan: [speaks up and grins]You’re leaving behind a place that has given you not only great memories, but also the molded the minds of young and eager minds like myself.
Big Mike: [gives Morgan a look]What the hell are talking about Grimes?[cut to Morgan whose grin turns to disappointed look]No…I’ve come to realize I’m finally out of this place…a place considered to be a bottomless black hole that sucks the life right of you. [points to his head]I had hair before I worked here, but I tore it all out because of you people.
[cut to Chuck with a freaked out look as he touches his hair]
Casey: [looks at Chuck, smirks, and leans over to whisper in his ear]Don’t worry Bartowski…we’ll sign you up for the hair the club for men…Agent Walker won’t be able to tell the difference.
[cut to Chuck giving a look to Casey]
Morgan: [looks at Big Mike]If Chuck is becoming head honcho…who is going to be taking over as the new leader of the Nerd Herd?
Jeff: [has a look on his face]I have an idea.
Chuck: [speaks up and looks at Jeff]We’re not having a drinking contest Jeff.
[cut to a look of disappointment on Jeff’s face]
Lester: [adjusting his tie]I nominate myself because I display qualities to be the perfect candidate for that position
Chuck: [looks at Lester]What…talk a big game, make promises you can’t keep, and end up letting someone else do your job for you.
[cut to Lester biting his lip as he gives a look as if Chuck was reading his mind about his intended plan]
Anna: [chimes in]Let’s put it to a vote….besides…[looking around]…its time for a woman to run things...[cut to the women of Buy More hooting/hollering and then looks at Morgan smiling]…right Morgan?
Morgan: [gives a goofy grin as he looks at Anna and then at Big Mike]My vote is for Anna.
Jeff: [coughing under his breathe] Whipped!
[cut to an argument ensuing amongst the employees as sides are taken as to who should be the leader of the Nerd Herd causing Big Mike to yell inevitably getting their attention]
Big Mike: [looks at the so called candidates]Bartowski will be the deciding factor…so what’s the plan Bartowksi?[turns around and looks at Chuck]
[cut to everybody looking at Chuck]
Chuck: [nervous tone]Well…instead of putting it to a vote…whoever does a better job over…let’s say…a week starting next week…is the new leader.
Big Mike: Way to think quickly on your feet Bartowski…[cut to Chuck smiling]because something tells me you’re going to need do a lot of it now that you’re the boss.
Chuck: [freaks out a bit, but smiles as he yells something aloud]FORMATION!
[You then suddenly see all the employees quickly form two lines opposite each other that start from the info desk to the front entrance]
Chuck: [looks at Big Mike and sticks his hand out for a hand shake]Good luck sir and the place won’t be the same around here without you.
[Big Mike smiles, shakes Chuck’s hand, grabs his Marlin from the info desk, and walks towards the door. Before he does, Morgan salutes him causing every to do so as well. The opening scene ends with the camera following Big Mike to where he stops at the entrance, turns around, look around, and then disappears out of sight. Cue Chuck intro]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins on Monday at Casey’s apartment where General Beckman and C.I.A Director Graham are in the middle of discussing a highly important matter with Casey, Chuck, Sarah, and Abe]
Beckman: [serious tone]We have reason to believe the Serbian demolition expert Vuc Audric, the man who nearly accomplished eliminating General Stanfield months ago with a bomb, maybe planning to do it again.
Sarah: Do we have a location?
Graham: Well, with this being the elections General Stanfield is backing Senator John McCain and from what we understand he’ll be having a luncheon/rally sometime this week at The Crown Plaza Hotel conference room, which Stanfield will be attending.
Chuck: The first time was pure luck General…it just so happened that Audric used a Prism Express laptop with a DOS override, which we sell at Buy More.
Abe: [looks at Chuck]How were you able to disable it?
Casey: [chimes in]He downloaded the Irene Demova virus leading it to crash.
[cut to Abe giving a look to Chuck]
Sarah: [grins]Yeah…we were lucky that time and I don’t think he’s going to make the same mistake again.
Graham: Correct Agent Walker and intel has it that he’s none too pleased at failing to eliminate his intended target. Apparently he has recruited someone named…Goran Bratislav.[cut to Chuck immediately flashing on images of his passport, 1984 Winter Olympics, Serbian special forces, and the name the “Red Berets”]
Chuck: [snaps out of it]Goran Bratislav…a former Serbian police officer who provided protection for the 1984 Winter Games in Sarajevo, now in the Serbian special forces attached to an outfit called the “Red Berets”
Beckman: [serious look]Take extreme caution and make no mistakes.
Sarah: What’s our cover General?
Beckman: Since Audric has seen Mr. Bartowski’s face, it would be best if he were to simply do surveillance. That way he and The Intersect are well protected. [cut to Chuck nodding] Agent Casey…you’ll be security detail and Agent Walker you’ll be a server giving you complete access around the entire conference room area. Mr. Carmichael you’ll be sitting this one out. [cut to Abe disappointed] You have your orders [screen turns off]
[The scene switches from Casey’s apartment to later that evening inside of Ellie’s apartment as you see Ellie and Awesome working on wedding invitations. You then see Chuck, Sarah, and Morgan walk in leading Ellie to begin the conversation]
Ellie: [smiling]Hey guys…so…[looks at Chuck]…how does it feel to officially be the new manager of Buy More? I’m so proud of you.
Chuck: Thanks sis…honestly…it feels…
Awesome: [chimes in]Awesome?
Chuck: I was thinking more along the lines of…surreal. I’m responsible for not only the well being of every customer, but also the employees who work under me.
Sarah: [looks at Chuck and smiles]You’ll do great…I have the utmost confidence in you that you’ll command respect from Jeff, Lester, Anna, Morgan and the rest of the employees.
Chuck: [smiles back at Sarah]Thanks
Ellie: So do I little brother…and if they don’t…[joking tone]Sarah and I will come down there and lay the smackdown on all of them…[looks at Sarah]Right Sarah?
Sarah: [nods and smiles]Right…nobody messes with my man.
Chuck: [waving hands]Okay Thelma and Louise…I’ll make sure to set some bail money aside just in case you two get arrested.
Awesome: [points 2 fingers at Chuck]No worries Chuck…you’ll be an awesome manager bro.
Morgan: We all have your back dude. You’ll do great buddy.
Chuck: I don’t know Morg…me as manager will probably end up being like a Clint Eastwood movie.
Morgan: In the Line of Fire?
Chuck: Nope…The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.
Ellie: Speaking of ugly…guess who I bumped into today?
Chuck: Who?
Ellie: Your ex…Jill.
[The scene ends with a close up of Chuck’s face as he has this look of surprise because he hasn’t seen her in 5 years and then a shot of Sarah who raises her right eyebrow at that bit of news]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins 2 day later with Casey inside the Crown Plaza Hotel conference room with the rest of the security detail who are being briefed on what is going to happen when Stanfield and McCain arrive. Cut to Sarah and Chuck sitting in the van across the street getting the surveillance equipment ready so that Chuck can spot Audric and Bratislav]
Sarah: Talk to me Chuck…how are you feeling?
Chuck: I don’t know…at one point I felt anger…resentment…bitterness. Things that I let go of when I met you…but now…
Sarah: [chimes in]I know how you feel
Chuck: Ah yes…the aforementioned Mr. Bryce Larkin…at least you know you can trust me in every sense of the word.
Sarah: [smiles]I know I can…you don’t have any secrets to hide from me and even though there are secrets about me that I’m not able to share with you...
Chuck: [stops her]I’m a patient guy…whenever you’re ready tell me.
Sarah: [puts her head on his shoulder]Thanks
Chuck: [kisses her forehead]Ellie said she wants to talk because she supposedly has something important she wants to share with me. Probably wants to apologize for what she did to me 5 years ago.
Sarah: Do you want to talk to her?
Chuck: [looks straight and then down]A part of me does because there are so many things that I want to get off my chest, but…
Sarah: But what?
Chuck: A part of me just wants to leave what she did to me where it belongs…in the past. Seeing her again would open old wounds and I may say something that I’ll end up regretting later.
Sarah: All the more reason…at least give her a chance to explain herself why she did it…give her that much?
Chuck: [surprised look]I’ll think about…besides…I’ve moved on for good…[looks at Sarah and smiles]…and I think for the better.
Sarah: [smiles]I think so too.
[cut to Sarah and Chuck having a moment sharing a tender kiss. Just then Sarah’s cell rings, answers it, and then tells Chuck that Casey informing her it time for her to get into position as the luncheon/rally is beginning. The scene switches from The Crown Plaza Hotel Conference Room to Buy More where you see Morgan near The Wall when Abe walks in. Morgan is about to walk up and talk to him when Lester proceeds to barrel through not only him, but also customer knocking them down. Just as he is about to reach Abe Anna come out of nowhere pushing him into a CD display]
Anna: [smiling]Welcome to Buy More, may I help you?
[cut to Jeff running towards his partner in crime’s aide]
Abe: [looking at Lester on the ground as he’s being helped up by Jeff and then at Anna]Is that young man okay?
Anna: [looking behind her and then back at Abe waving her hand]He’s fine…are you looking for anything Mr. Bartowski?
Abe: Call me Abe young lady and I’m just looking around?
Anna: Is this a test? Is Chuck testing us on our professionalism?
[cut to Lester walking up a little worse for wear and standing next to Anna]
Lester: Where is the trust? I am deeply appalled that your son would think that we’re not handling ourselves professionally.
Jeff: [leans in and talks low to Lester] Are we still going to Bennigans for our lunch break…its half off on the beer battered Onion Rings
Lester: [stomps on Jeff’s foot as Abe gives them a glaring look]We don’t need to be looked after like we’re little children. We’re grown, mature adults.
[cut to Morgan walking up and slapping Lester upside the head. Lester slaps back and it turns into a slap fight between the two of them. Abe rolls his eyes and the scene ends with Abe grabbing Morgan and Lester by the ear and taking them to Chuck’s office in order to give both of them a stern talking to]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins back at the Crown Plaza Hotel conference room where you see the luncheon/rally in full swing. You see Casey keeping a close on things, Sarah walk around the conference area serving food all-the-while surveying the area, and Chuck who is in the van eating sizzling shrimp as he doing surveillance. Cut to several moments later when Chuck spots Auric on one of the monitors, but doesn’t see Bratislav]
Chuck: [speaking into a microphone]Casey…Sarah…heads up Auric has appeared.
Casey: [speaking into his watch]All right Bartowski…we’ll do our job…just do yours.
Sarah: [speaking into her watch]Remember Chuck…for you own safety stay in…
Chuck: [repeats what she says]Stay in the van…I got it.
Casey: [serious tone]We mean it Bartowski or I’ll shove my foot so far up your arse that it will come up through your ear.
Chuck: When you put it that way…I’ll stay in the van.
[cut to Casey and Sarah spotting Auric, then signaling each other to keep back until he makes his move. The scene switches from the conference room to Chuck in the van where he spots Bratislav heading into the parking garage. He makes the decision to go after him, but not before looking for a weapon in order to use. Shuffling around Sarah’s bag that she left behind he finds two things…a gun and a tazer. Remembering how he doesn’t like to use a gun, he takes the tazer instead. He gets out of the van takes the tazer and then decides to take the extra sizzling shrimp in the bag as well. Chuck then proceeds to nervously pass by Bratislav carrying the sizzling shrimp in the bag. He acts as if he is a lost delivery guy and then begins to talk to Bartislav]
Chuck: [nervous tone]Excuse me…is this the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Bratislav: Yes it is
Chuck: Oh great…I got lost…you see I’m the new delivery guy and I'm just learnig the new routes. Anyways, I’m supposed to deliver this order to somebody on the fourth floor and [looks at his watch] I’m already late as is it.
Bratislav: Yeah…what’s in the bag.
Chuck: [holds bag up]A box of Sizzling Shrimp…hey since I’m late anyway…do you want to have this?
[cut to Bratislav thinking about it for several minutes and then agreeing to take the bag]
Bartislav: Sure…I haven’t eaten yet.
Chuck: Cool
Bratislav: How much do I owe you?
Chuck: Hey, its on the house man…I’m probably going to get fired anyway.
Bartislav: [smirks]Thanks.
Chuck: No problem
[cut to Chuck handing the bag over to Bratislav but intentionally drops it on the ground]
Chuck: Sorry dude
Bratislav: [looks at Chuck and then at the bag of sizzling shrimp]Don’t worry about it.
[Cut to Bratislav bending over to pick up the bag when Chuck takes out the tazer and zaps him with it, but he doesn’t go down at first. Undaunted, Chuck jumps on Bratislav’s back and continues to shock him but is fighting it causing him to buck like a bull. Chuck hold on for dear life as he’s being slammed against the van by Bratislav all-the-while zapping him. After a few moments, Bratislav starts to wear down to the point where he’s passes out from the pain. . Cut back to the conference room where Auric radio’s Bratislav in Serbian, but he’s not answering leading him to retreat and go back to see what happened to Bartislav. Cut back to Chuck, who is on the ground battered, bruised, and out of breath after going toe to toe with a Serbian Special Forces soldier. Chuck gradually gets up and then look to see if lunges forward at the last minute. After several seconds of tapping him with his foot, he shocks him again for good measure and then ties him up. The scene ends with Chuck opening the back of the van to reveal a bomb and then cut to chuck with a very freaked out look on his face]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins with Sarah following Auric who is still radioing Bratislav. As a meal cart passes by Auric sees the reflection of Sarah and instinctively he ducks into the stairs. You then see Sarah radioing Casey on her position who then follows after Sarah who is following Auric in the stairwell leading to the parking garage. After several moments, Sarah is just standing there befuddled at where he could have disappeared to when all of sudden he appears behind her holding a gun to her head. Its at that point, Casey shows up pointing his gun w/ laser sight attachment directly at Auric’s head]
Casey: Shoot my partner…I shoot you.
Sarah: [looking at Casey]Do worry about me…just do whatever it takes to save the General.
Auric: [holding a detonator in one hand while hold a gun to Sarah’s head to another]Nobody will be able to save the General or the this entire hotel for that matter.
[The scene switches from the stairwell to Chuck freaking out as he’s looking at the bomb. He then backs up and begins to look around for any possibly sign of something he could to disable it because from the looks of things the Irene Demova virus isn’t going to cut it. After several moments of panicking, he spots a truck parked across the street loaded with liquid nitrogen and the driver about finished changing the tire. An idea begins leading him to book across the street to where he finds the driver of the truck]
Chuck: [holds up his nerd herd id badge and flashing it quickly]C.I.A…I need to commandeer your vehicle immediately.
Guy: [chuckles] Yeah right…get lost buddy.
Chuck: I don’t think you understand…this is a matter of national security. The lives of thousands…maybe millions of people are at stake.
Guy: [looks at chuck]Sorry buddy…my life is at stake if I don’t get these liquid nitrogen tanks to Vegas...its my job that’s going to be at stake.
[cut to the guy turning around and tightening the last of the bolts on the tire. You then see Chuck looking up, then taking out the tazer, and then zapping the driver]
Chuck: [repeating over]I’m sorry…I’m sorry…I’m soooooo sorry.
[Chuck places the guy in the passenger seat and then drives the truck into the parking garage next to the van. He gets out, pulls out several tanks, attaches the hoses to each of them, and places them close to the bomb. After taking a deep breathe he leading him to say something]
Chuck: I hope this works[turns it on and sprays the outside, as well as, the inside of the bomb]
[Cut back to Auric who is at a standoff with Casey as he holds Sarah hostage]
Auric: I failed the first time, but I’m not going to fail again. If I have to die myself…then so be it.
Casey: [smirks]Let me be the one do it for you…with a several bullets saved just for you.
[cut to Sarah motion to Casey with hand signal leading him to discreetly nod. Sarah suddenly does a front kick causing Auric to be disoriented leading Casey to put several rounds into him. Stumbling about he has his thumb on the ready position to detonate the bomb leading both Casey and Sarah to rush him causing all three to fall down the stairs all-the-while trying to wrestle the trigger away, but to no avail as Auric presses the bottom leading to both Sarah and Casey’s eyes to widen. Cut to Chuck, who has used up several liquid nitrogen tanks, freaks out when the bomb turns on and shows a countdown that read 10 seconds. Cut to Chuck hoping to God that it works leading him to cross his fingers]
Chuck: Come on…come on…come on![closes his eyes at 3 seconds and says something]Sarah…I love you.
[At 1 second, the entire bomb completely freezes/shuts down due to the tremendous amount of liquid nitrogen soaked on the circuits. The scene ends with Chuck doing a combination of a relieved freak out, laughing, and a victory dance]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins 2 days later at Buy More 1 hour before the stores opens and you see Anna, Lester, Jeff, Morgan, and all the employees loitering around Chuck’s office awaiting word on who is the new leader of the new heard. Suddenly the door opens and out walks Chuck who has this look as if he’s made the decision as to who he has chosen]
Lester: [looks at Chuck]So…did you do the right thing and pick me as the new leader of the nerd herd.
Anna: [look at Lester]Fat chance…he’s picked me because he knows the Nerd Herd needs a woman’s touch.
[an argument ensues leading them to get into each other’s face]
Jeff: [looks at both of them]I’ve got 100 bucks on Anna.
Lester: [looking at Jeff]Where’s the loyalty my friend?
[cut to Jeff shrugging his shoulders leading Morgan to speak up]
Morgan: [looks at Chuck]Before Anna does a crouching tiger hidden dragon on Lester…who did you pick Chuck?
Chuck: [looks at Anna and Lester]Anna…I’m sorry I didn’t choose you.
[cut to Lester high fiving Jeff and then to a disappointed Morgan]
Lester: [smile on his face]Thanks Chuck…I won’t let you down…I know I have some big shoes…[looks down]…really big shoes to fill.
Chuck: [chuckles]I hate to break this to you Lester…you didn’t get the position either.
[cut to Anna smiling]
Lester: [bewildered look]What? Then who did?
Voice behind them:[loud tone] I did!
[cut to everybody turning around with a look of astonishment as they see Chuck’s dad Abe]
Jeff: Lame
Chuck: [smirks]Everybody…my dad’s the new leader of the Nerd Herd. He told me what happened a couple of days ago and you know what…it makes perfect sense. You a;; need someone to keep you kids in line and I think I made the perfect choice.
[cut to Abe walking through the crowd and standing next to his son with his arms crossed as he a big grin is seen on his face. The scene moves forward from that morning to evening at Casa Bartowski as Ellie in the kitchen and Chuck/Sarah cuddling on the couch watching tv. Sarah then whispers something to Chuck]
Sarah: [turning to look at Chuck]How on earth did you know that liquid nitrogen would freeze the electronic components within the bomb to prevent detonation?
Chuck: [looks at Sarah]I saw it in an episode of MacGyver.[cut to Sarah giving a look] Hey…it worked didn’t it. [leaning back with confidence]You’re looking at a guy who has disarmed two bombs…that makes me the man.
[Suddenly they hear a knock at the door leading Ellie to open it and standing there is Jill]
Ellie: [glaring at her]You have the nerve to show your face her after what you did to my brother.
Jill: Thanks for the warm welcome…is Chuck here?
[cut to Chuck getting off the couch and walking up to the door]
Chuck: Jill
Jill: Hey Chuck…you look good.
Chuck: Thanks…I’ve lost weight.
Jill: [smiling]Its shows...what have you been doing?
Chuck: [vindictive tone]Well…other than exercising…I’ve dumped all my feelings for you that I’ve been holding on to for the last 5 years…so that’s been a big weight off my shoulders.
Jill: I know I deserved that.
[cut to Sarah walking up to Chuck and holding on to his arm]
Sarah: [gives her all-too-familiar look]Chuck…dinner is almost ready…[looks at Jill]…who is this?
Chuck: My bad…Sarah…this is Jill…Jill this is Sarah…my girlfriend.
[cut to Jill with a hurt look on her face and then the camera pans to Ellie smiling in the kitchen, as well as, Sarah with a smirk on her face]
Jill: Oh…I’m happy that you were able to move on…really.
Chuck: Jill...what is it that’s so important that you need to talk me…if its an apology your wanting to give me then fine. Just say it and then leave.
Jill: [looks down and then at Chuck]Its not that…can we do this in private?
Chuck: [with an angry tone looks at Jill]No Jill…say what you have to say.
[cut to Jill motioning over to someone from around the corner to come over. You then see a small boy stand in front of her]
Jill: [looking down as she rubbing his head]This is Charlie…[looks up]…your son.
[Cut to Sarah and Ellie in shock as they both look at Chuck who is completely speechless. The episode ends with a close up Charlie and then of Chuck]

[Fade to Black]

Chuck Vs. The Godfather

[The opening scene begins two weeks later after the upload of the new beta version of The Intersect. You see a beautiful ariel night shot of Los Angeles and then cut to the façade of a quaint Italian restaurant leading the camera to focus on the name…Corelone’s. Inside you see a seemingly packed house with patrons drinking and eating to their heart’s content. You then see at a booth with Ellie/Awesome sitting on one end, Chuck/Sarah in the middle, and Morgan/Anna at the other end sitting eating away, as well as, having a great time talking with each other. As the dinner begins to die down Awesome talks]
Awesome: [raises glass of wine]I believe in America…[looks at everybody]…an awesome America where you can sit in a nice restaurant like this and enjoy your dining experience with a beautiful woman.[looks at Ellie smiling]
[cut to Chuck and Morgan raise their glasses in agreement as they look at their dates]
Ellie: [smiling back] Right back at you sweety[kisses Awesome]
[Cut to Chuck who has his arm around her smiling at Sarah as they share a brief moment. She then looks at Awesome]
Sarah: Thanks for taking us all out to dinner.
[cut to Awesome nodding towards Sarah]
Chuck: [opening his wallet]Yeah Devon…so what do we owe you for this excellent dining experience?
Awesome: [looks at Chuck]Its on me Chuckles…so don’t worry about.
[Cut to Morgan who quickly looks up as he is finishing up the last of his fettucini alfredo on his plate]
Morgan: Sweet [stops a server who passes by the table]Can I have 2 orders of fettucini alfredo please.
Anna: [looks at Morgan and smiles]That’s was sweet of you Morgan.
Morgan: [looks at Anna]Oh…sorry…did you want me to order some for you too?
[Cut to Anna giving a glaring look towards Morgan. The camera switches over to Ellie who quickly breaks up the uncomfortable moment and talks to Awesome]
Ellie: So what’s the reason for this occasion?
Awesome: [looks into the eyes of Ellie]I just wanted to do something special for you guys, but more importantly do something special for you babe.
Anna: [slapping Morgan in the arm]Why don’t you do something like that for me?
Morgan: Owww! [looks at Anna]Didn’t I give you that $50 gift certificate to Hot Topic and I did not also take you to the half off coupon dinner special at Red Lobster?
[Cut to Awesome looking at the fight happening as he is getting antsy and sweating a bit]
Chuck: [looking at Awesome]Devon…are you okay because it looks like you’re about to blow chunks?
Ellie: [feeling his forehead]You’re feeling warm and Chuck’s right…you don’t look so good.
Awesome: [slowly grabs her hand]I’m feeling fine…actually I feel totally awesome and its all because of you.[cut to everybody focusing on Awesome and Ellie] We’ve known for each other for what is it 6 years now and the first time we meet…I thought to myself as I looked into your eyes…this is an awesome woman.
Ellie: [intrigued look on her face]Devon?
Awesome: Yesterday, I had a little confab with your dad and asked him for his permission to ask you something very important, which he approved.
[The camera pans to Sarah smiling as he’s cuddling next to Chuck watching what is about to happen and then to Morgan who is trying to watch what is happening but is distracted by Anna’s evil stare. Cut back to Awesome who stands up from the table, guides Ellie to the edge of the booth, and begins to say something]
Awesome: [takes a deep breathe and smiles]Eleanor Faye Bartowski…[gets on one knee]…will you do me the honor of making me the happiest man on earth…[opens the box to reveal an engagement ring]…will you marry me?
[cut to everybody in the restaurant looking and wondering what her answer will be]
Ellie: [tearing up, looking around, and then at Awesome]Yes!
[Cut to everybody in the restaurant clapping their hands as Chuck, Sarah, Morgan, and Anna who is still angry at Morgan congratulate the newly engaged couple]
Chuck: [hugs Ellie and that talks to Awesome]Welcome to the family.
Awesome: Thanks bro…hey…I’m going to mean that literally from now on.
[cut to Ellie hugging Sarah who talks to her]
Sarah: [smiling]Congratulations…I’m happy for you two.
Ellie: [smiles as she looks at Sarah]Thanks…[looks at Chuck]…you’ll hopefully be in my position with Chuck getting on one knee for you someday.
[Cut to Sarah taken back by the statement from Ellie who looks at Chuck who simply smiles. Just then his attention averts from Sarah to a couple of gentlemen in dark suits walking in the front door. He begins to flash on one of the men to the point that he sees images of the surveillance photos, mafia, the five families, fallen victims, explosives, illegal arms dealings, North Korea, and the name Frank Clemenza. Chuck snaps out of it and immediately looks at Sarah who recognizes what’s going on. Cue Chuck intro]

[The scene begins the next morning at Casey’s apartment as you see Chuck, Sarah, Casey, and the newest member to Team Chuck Abe. They’re in the middle of discussing with Beckman and Graham on who chuck flashed on the previous night at the restaurant]
Beckman: Frank Clemenza…[picture comes on screen]…former government spook whose had his hand in everything from being an explosives expert, illegal arms dealer, to hitman for hire and up until 5 years ago he’s been off the radar for quite some time. With what Mr. Bartowski flashed on, he is not only an enforcer for the mafia, but he’s also dealing high tech state of the art military grade weapons to North Korea. Knowing Kim Jung il, he would most definitely pay good money for quality goods.
Abe: [grins]You got to admit…this guy has to have giant size cahones to go behind their back without their knowledge and jeopardize their so called legit operation.
Graham: Money talks
Casey: What was the last intel we had on him?
Graham: [pulling up a video surveillance]In December of 2004, three foreign nationals were found dead in their hotel rooms and even though there were no witnesses surveillance footage did catch a glimpse of Clemenza leaving the Bonasera Hotel.
Sarah: After four years of hiding, why has he resurfaced as a hired hand.
Abe: [chiming in as he looks at everybody]Its no secret that the government and the mafia have been partners, so to speak, as our boys stole our own military weapons in order to sell them to the goomba squad.
Beckman: [serious look]Allegedly…Mr. Carmichael.
Chuck: So what information do we got concerning The Five Families
Beckman: They each own a part of the Genco shipping docks importing and exporting legal goods. On the surface, it’s a legit operation but…
Abe: But what?
Graham: With Clemenza’s appearance, it raises a serious red flag because with what we know of Clemenza he is someone who is known to work alone. Add to that, there’s been chatter that the five families are gathering at the Luna Azura. A popular eating establishment for elite crime bosses, thugs, hoods, lowlifes, and its owned by a man who in some circles is considered the Godfather to all five families.[shows picture on screen]
Abe: [looks at picture]You got to be kidding me?
Chuck: [looks at his dad] What is it…do you know him?
Abe: [grins]Yeah…that’s Salvatore Tessio…Big Sal.
Beckman: [intrigued look]How do you know the Godfather of the five families…Mr. Carmichael?
Abe: [looks at Beckman]He wasn’t the Godfather when I knew him back in the day…he was just Big Sal Tessio from the Bronx. He and I were in the military academy together and I saved his butt on more than one occasion being that he tended to be a bit of hot head when he had a few in him. Starting fights that he knew he couldn’t win. He dropped out before he could finish because the family business was more important. Anyways to make a long story short, after graduating from the academy I was asked to join section 8…that was nearly 30 years ago.
Beckman: I think we have a way in…Mr. Carmichael we would like you to infiltrate the little gathering they’re having with your son, Agent Casey, and Agent Walker backing you up. See what you can find out about why Clemenza is part of their organization. Tessio owns the Luna Azure…so he’ll be there along with Clemenza…go make a visit to see an old friend. Can you be able to handle that?
Abe: It’s been a while…I may be a bit rusty…but hey let’s see if this old dog still has a few tricks up his sleeve.
Casey: The world of organized crime…[looks at everybody]…its good to try to something new.
[cut to Chuck giving a weird look towards Casey]
Sarah: [smiles as Abe and then looks at Beckman]What’s our cover General?
Abe: [chimes in as he looks at Sarah]Fughetdebouit…just follow my lead.
Beckman: Against my better judgment…follow Mr. Carmichael’s lead…be careful and good luck.[screen turns off]
Abe: [grins]Just when I thought I was out…they pull me back in.
[The scene ends with Casey, Sarah, and Chuck looking at Abe who has this big grin on his face. From the look on his face he is seemingly getting a kick out of being part of a mission after not being in the game for so long]

[The scene begins early in the morning with façade of Buy More 30 minutes before opening as you see all the employees lined up with the exception of Chuck who is standing in front of all the crew. You then see Big Mike come into frame as he’s pacing up and down the line with a very serious look on his face]
Big Mike: [looking at employees]Listen up you knuckleheads…tomorrow is my last day and I don’t want to have any problems…you got me? I have the utmost confidence that when he takes over as manager[points at Chuck]he won’t completely screw up. You know why? [Cut to Chuck looking at Big Mike]
Morgan: He’s a natural born leader?
Anna: He has our respect?
Lester: [speaks up]He has the support of hard workers behind his back?
Big Mike: [stops pacing and looks at Lester]The only hard worker around here I really see is Casey. You and [points at Jeff] and the other half of your brain should learn a thing or two from him because he exemplifies what being a buy more employee means.
Jeff: Being a Narc?
[cut Casey glaring at Jeff and then all the employees coughing out Narc]
Chuck: [speaking up]Don’t worry about Jeff and Lester sir, I think I’ll be able to motivate them to do some good old fashioned hard larbor…even if it kills them.
[Big Mike looks at Chuck and then gets in the face of Jeff/Lester who bend back]
Big Mike: You see that right there is why I made the right choice in choosing Bartowski…I knew somewhere along the lines my throw down the hammer type of leadership would rub off on him.
[cut to Jeff and Lester looking at Chuck over Big Mike’s shoulder who is smiling as he is waving in the air their amateur girls gone wildish type disc that he took from their hiding place in order to identify Lizzie as the Fulcrum operative]
Chuck: [puts disc in pocket when Big Mike turns around]You’re right Big Mike…I’ve learned a lot from you over the past 5 years. I consider you my mentor and I hope I can fill your shoes to the best of my ability.
Big Mike: [puts hand on Chuck’s shoulder and smiles]Come with me to my office Bartowski.[turns around and looks at the employees] Get to work![everybody scrambles]
[cut to Chuck walking with Big Mike to his office as Jeff and Lester stand there]
Lester: We need that disc back.
Jeff: Yeah…but how are we going to get it? He’s not just going to willingly hand it over to us…unless we kill him?
[cut to Lester looking at Jeff who has this sinister look in his eyes]
Lester: Relax Jeff…we’re not going to kill Chuck…I’ve got an idea.
Jeff: What?
Lester: [looks at Chuck and Big Mike talking through the window]We’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse. [nodding and tapping nose]
[sinister music starts to play but is quickly gone]
Jeff: What offer and why are you pointing at your nose…do you need a tissue to blow your nose?
Lester: [hangs head]You know Jeff…[looks at Jeff]…you ruined the entire moment. Things were going so well and you had to open your mouth. Let’s go.
[Lester walks off with his hands in the air as Jeff follows closely behind him]
[The scene shifts from Buy More to later that evening as Abe, Chuck, Casey, and Sarah walking into the Luna Azure. Abe, Casey, and Chuck who has his hair slicked back and chewing on a toothpick, walk in with Sarah who is wearing a black knee high dress, leather jacket, hair in a pony tale, and knee high boots. Abe motions over to the young female greeter to inform her that he would like to see Big Sal and to tell him that The Wiz Kid is here to see him]
Chuck: [looks at his dad]The Wiz Kid?
Abe: [looks at Chuck and whispers]Yeah…he thought of me as a braniac back in our academy days. Remember just follow my lead…you got me?
[cut to all three nodding and after several minutes of waiting Big Sal walks out from the back with Clemenza walking behind him]
Big Sal: [sees the Abe, smiles, walks over to hug him, and then kisses him on both sides of his cheek]Amico! *Italian word meaning friend*
Abe: Sally boy!
[Big Sal all of a sudden punches Abe in the face leading him to fall on the ground to the point where he not only takes out his gun and aim it at him, but everybody in the restaurant, Clemenza, as well as, the young female greeter. The scene ends with Chuck, Sarah, Casey who have this look on their face that the shiznit has just about hit the fan]

[A short scene begins at Buy More as you see Jeff and Lester in the break room planning some elaborate scheme to get back their disc from Chuck. You then cut back to the scene in progress with Team Chuck as Big Sal has a gun aimed right at Abe’s face. He looks down with seriousness, but then has a big smile on his face]
Big Sal: [puts gun away and helps up his old friend]That was for Connie Rizzie.
[cut to everybody including Clemenza putting away their pieces and then pan to Chuck whose wonder who this Connie Rizzie is]
Abe: Hey, that was 30 years ago…we were just kids back then…and besides…[grins]I was better looking than you.
[Cut to Big Sal waving his gun at Abe as he is laughing with everybody taking a cue to laugh as well]
Big Sal: Where have you been hidin for 30 years…last I remember you were still in the military.
Abe: Yeah…unfortunately I didn’t agree with one of my superiors and I clocked him in the jaw. I was dishonorably discharged…did some stints in the clink…and now I’m in business for myself.
Big Sal: [pats Abe’s cheek]It good to see an old face from the past…[looks behind him]….Who are they?
Abe: [turns to introduce them. First looks at Chuck]This is Charlie “The Brain”…runs numbers for me and he’s a genius with computers. He hacked into the C.I.A. mainframe once just on a dare by his friends. [looks at Casey] Johnny “Gun”…my muscle. [looks at Sarah]This beautiful young lady is Sarah “The Connoli” Hagen…she’s sweet, dangerous, and deadly?
Clemenza: [speaks up and talks to Abe]She doesn’t look dangerous…she just looks like a sweet, good looking skirt.
[cut to Abe looking at Sarah who nods to show him. You then see Sarah pulling out weapons from everywhere and placing them on the table. From what they see he takes out, brass knuckles, a tazer, several knives from each boot, a knife behind her neck, 2 behind her back, 2 guns holstered under her jacket, lifing up her dress reveals more knives strapped to her thigh, and finally she does a jerking motion with both her arms showing two guns sliding out from beneath her sleeves. Cut to Tessio, Clemenza, Chuck, Casey, and even Abe who are thoroughly impressed by Sarah arsenal of weapons]
Abe: [turns around and looks Clemenza]Any questions?
Clemenza: [nodding]Hot and deadly…I like it.
Big Sal: [looks at Sarah]Are you related to Tommy Hagen from Brooklyn…he’s a lawyer for our east coast syndicate.
Sarah: [shaking head]Nope
Big Sal: [looks at Abe]Doesn’t say much that one?
Abe: [grins]She’s all business…that’s why I hired her as my muscle as well.
[Just then one of Big Sal’s thugs walks up and talks to him in his ear to which Team Chuck pay attention to immediately]
Big Sal: Pardon me, there seems to be a problem at The Genco shipping docs with the computers up there. I don’t know nothing about computers nowadays that’s why I have him.
[Big Sal points to Clemenza and motions for him to go and fix the problem leading Abe to speak up]
Abe: Hey…Oh…Hey…why not take Charlie “The Brain” along…you know…just in case he needs some extra help?
Big Sal: [nods in agreement] Frankie take Charlie wit ya.
[cut to Clemenza reluctantly agreeing to it]
Chuck: [gets into character as he’s chewing on his toothpick]Right…come on you two.
[cut to Sarah and Casey about to leave with Chuck when Abe stops them]
Abe: [looks at Chuck]Hey…[all three turn around]Leave “The Gun”…take "The Connoli”
[Cut to Chuck nodding as he and Sarah head out the door heading towards the The Genco shipping docks. The scene ends with Abe and Big Sal being escorted to a table in order to catch up on old times]

[The scene begins the next morning at the Home Theater room at Buy More where you see Abe, Casey, Chuck, and Sarah talking with Beckman and Graham about last night]
Graham: Well…did everything go accordingly Mr. Carmichael?
Abe: Smooth General…like a baby’s bottom. As far as Big Sal knows…I’m an old friend looking to possibly join up with his organization?
[Cut to Chuck giving a weird look to his dad]
Graham: Does Clemenza suspect anything?
Casey: [smirks]We made sure to cover all our bases…[looks at Abe]…Carmichael took care of that on his end. Not too bad for a guy whose been out of the spy game nearly 30 years.
[Cut to Abe nodding at Casey]
Beckman: [looking at Abe and then at Chuck]We’re you able to find out anything Mr. Bartowski?
Chuck: [looks at Sarah and then at Beckman]Sarah distracted Clemenza for me while I was able to able to upload a Trojan system capable of letting us in through the backdoor. [Cut to everybody staring at Chuck with blank looks]
Casey: English Bartowski
[cut to Chuck pulling out his laptop and punching keys]
Chuck: [staring at the screen]Even though I didn’t get any information from either his laptop or files at the Genco shipping yards…we do however are able to know Clemeza’s every step. [turns laptop around, grins, and shows files not only clemenza’s files but the files of the entire organization]You know…you got to give credit to the mafia…even though they're considered old school with their ways…at least their trying to keep up–to-date with times.
Casey: [looks at chuck]Whose side are you on Bartowski?
[Chuck gives Sarah a look]
Sarah: Thankfully…he’s on our side[smiles at Chuck]
[cut to Chuck smiling back leading to a moment]
Beckman: [interrupting the two]Well…Mr. Bartowski..[cut to chuck snapping out of it]…excellent work…start digging around and we’ll look into Clemenza cell phone records and see who he has been contacting on our end. In the meantime, stick to Clemenza. You have your orders[screen turns off]
[The scene switches to a couple days later at a busy day at Buy More where you see Chuck at the information desk helping customers. Just then Jeff and Lester walk up with Lester telling Jeff that he’s doing all the talking]
Lester: Chuck…may we have a word with you.
Chuck: Fredo…Moe…what can I do you for?
[cut to Lester and Jeff looking at Chuck and then shrugging it off]
Lester: We would like to make you an offer in exchange for our disc?
Chuck: Sorry fellas…the disc stays with me. Let’s just say that by keeping the disc with me I have power over you.
Lester: That’s blackmail
Chuck: I simply like to call it an opportunity for you two to do some hard work for a change.[looks at Jeff and Lester]Besides…what offer are you speaking of?[Cut lester looks at Jeff, grins and puts a something wrapped in newspaper on the info desk and slides it across to Chuck. Chuck picks it up, opens it, and gives a strange look to Lester]You got to be kidding me.
Jeff: Does it look like we’re...
Lester: [stops Jeff in mid sentence, looks at him, and motions as if he’s about to give him a backhanded slap]What did I say about talking?[looks at Chuck]So, what’s your answer?
Chuck: Still no…and what’s this?
[cut to a singing/talking bass on the info disk]
Lester: Take that as a message?
Chuck: What message…that you’re not really good at the whole shake down thing?
Jeff: [scratching head]We didn’t have time to buy a real fish so we went over to Large Mart and bought this one instead.
Lester: [pointing finger at Jeff and then looks at Chuck]This is not over…we will get our disc back. I underestimated you my friend…a game well played.[salutes Chuck]
[Jeff and Lester leave and then cut to Chuck chuckling at the thought those two trying to rattle his cage. Just then Casey calls his name out from behind causing him to jump. Casey informs him he and Sarah are heading back out tonight with Abe at the Luna Azure, which gives him time to look for more info on his laptop inevitably telling Chuck if he finds anything to call him]

[The scene begins at Casa Bartowski where you see Chuck walking in with Ellie in the kitchen and Awesome in the hallway upside down doing some ab crunches]
Chuck: [looks at Ellie]Hey sis….[tilts his to the side as he looks at Awesome]Capt…how goes things?
Awesome: [from his point of view]Awesome as usual.
Ellie: Chuck…Devon would like to ask you something in regards to the wedding?
Chuck: [looks at Awesome who is upright and walking towards him]Of course…what is it?
Awesome: [puts his hand on Chuck’s shoulder]Would you be my best man?
[cut to Ellie smiling at Chuck as he is speechless]
Ellie: Well?
Chuck: [snaps out of it]Of course…yes...I would be honored.
Awesome: [motioning for a fist tap with Chuck who does it]Awesome
[cut to Ellie hugging Chuck and informing that their dad will be walking her down the isle]
[The joyous scene switches from casa Bartowski to the Luna Azure where Casey, Sarah, and Abe are schmoozing with the five families all-the-while Chuck is looking through the computer obtaining valuable information]
Big Sal: [look at Abe]Where is Charlie?
Abe: He’s taking care of some business for me...retirement plan all done by computers these days. The word is changing Sally boy and I don’t like it. Give me the standard 45 records any day of Sinatra and Martin on a record player any day…not these new fangled gadgets these young kids have today…Ipods and mp3 player.[waves it off in apparent disgust]
[cut to Sarah and Casey standing close to Abe]
Big Sal: Yeah I hear ya…that’s why I hired Frankie or should I say he wanted to work for me. He’s an okay guy…great with computers…he actually convinced all five families to go the way of the computer. Put all information in what you call…a mainframe…and it will run through a central computer. Money…contacts…shipping times in/out…everything you can imagine.
Abe: [looks at Sal]Let me guess…his computer. You trust him with all that info?
Big Sal: The five head of the families do….me not so much?
Abe: Where is Clemenza now?
Big Sal: Oh…he informed me had to take care of some personal matters.
[Just as he says that Casey’s phone rings with Chuck on the other end]
Voice of Chuck: Casey, just found key info that there is a deal going down with Clemenza and 2 North Korean operatives in 30 minutes. You and Sarah need to head over there now.
[Cut to Casey hanging up and telling him in his ear what’s going on]
Abe: [looking at Big Sal and leans in] Do you really trust Clemenza?
Big Sal: [gives a suspicious look to Abe and in a low tone]I said no…what’s going on.
[Cut to Abe looking at Casey/Sarah and then at Big Sal. He motions him to coming closer so he can speak in his ears leading Casey and Sarah wondering what is going on. As he whispers into Big Sal’s eyes widen leading him to sit back in his chair looking at all three of them]
Abe: [serious look]The next move is yours….remember…I saved your life more times than you can count.
[The scene ends with Big Sal with a very serious look on his face as he stares at his old friend and then cutting to Sarah and Chuck who are getting ready the possibility of a gun fight about to ensue]

[The scene begins at Genco’s shipping docks as you see Clemeza and a North Korean operative doing business. Just then Big Sal, Abe, Casey, and Sarah appear before the two of them]
Big Sal: [shaking his head]Fankie, Frankie, Frankie….I trusted you…the five families trusted you…you go do this behind our back? This makes us look bad?
Clemenza: Well...if you’re looking for an apology you’re not going to get one from me. I’m no puppet…being pulled on a string held by you isn’t something that appeals to me. I was just buying time so that I can make my move. I was just a made a deal with these 2 fine gentlemen here and the money from the five families to make the deal is already in my back account…so you see you’re too late to stop me. You see, a man in my position cannot afford to be made to look ridiculous.
Abe: [Chimes in and looks at Clemenza]That’s where your wrong because my son informed me before we got here that the money you claim is in that account…isn’t there.
Clemenza: What? [opens laptop to check]Who are you?
Big Sal: Hey…your business is not with them…its with me.
Clemenza: [looks down and discreetly takes out gun]You’re right…[looks up and shoots Big Sal in the left shoulder]
[Cut to Abe checking on Big Sal who tells him to go after Clemenza as Casey and Sarah deal with the 2 North Korean operatives. Abe runs after Clemenza who finds him first near a giant crane and they tussle leading Clemenza to talk]
Clemenza: I’m going to enjoy this.[aims his gun at Abe]
Abe: Let’s settle this like men…with our fists.
Clemenza: Fine…[throws gun down on ground]...lets go old man…I’m younger…faster…and not to mention stronger than you. You don’t stand a chance.
Abe: [gives Clemenza a look]What is with you young kids today…[making the hand talk motion]talk talk talk talk…just shut up and fight.
[The fight begins and then it switches to Casey and Sarah tangle with the 2 North Korean Operatives. It goes back and forth leading to Casey and Sarah going back to back who grin at each other. Several back kicks, punches, and knees to the gut later Casey and Sarah get the edge on the two operatives essentially arresting them. Cut back to Clemenza and Abe who are still going at it]
Clemenza: [bleeding from the mouth]You’re tough for an old man.
Abe: [bleeding from the nose and smirks]I’m just full of surprises.
[The tussle some more leading to Clemenza getting the upper hand to where he stands a few feet away and aims his gun at Abe. Just as he is about to pull the trigger he gets popped behind the head leading him to fall to the ground. Abe look and sees Chuck standing there hold a broken laptop in his hands]
Chuck:[looking at broken laptop]Dang it…I really need to get laptop insurance…that’s the second one I’ve broken over someone’s head in a mission.
Abe: [on the ground and grins at Chuck]Just put it on the General’s tab son.
[As Chuck picks his dad off the ground inevitably walking off several feet they hear a scream behind them to where they both see a battered Clemenza aiming the gun he threw on the ground at both of them. You then see in the background behind Clemenza is Casey and Sarah running fast to get to him before he pulls the trigger. Chuck stands in front of his father and just as he is about to pull the trigger…again…they hear a sound causing them to look up. A large steel shipping crate hurdles down towards their direction leading Chuck and Abe to move out of the way. Clemenza tries to but unfortunately he gets crushed underneath. The scene ends with Casey, Sarah, Abe, and Chuck looking up to see Big Sal sitting at the controls with a smile on his face as he gives a semi-salute to Team Chuck]

[The scene begins at the beach where you see Abe and Big Sal with his left arm in a sling strolling along and in the middle of talking with each other as Casey, Sarah, Chuck, and a few of Big Sal’s men are in the background watching over them]
Chuck: I wonder what their talking about?
Casey: Its none of our business Bartowski…just be glad he didn’t whack all of us after your dad spilled the beans on who we were.
[cut to a freaked out look by Chuck who looks at Sarah who nods and then the camera switches to Big Sal and Abe talking]
Big Sal: So The Wiz Kid actually made something of himself. A former government agent…a wife…two kids…a regular John Bond.
Abe: James Bond…ah forget it. So where do we go from here?
Big Sal: [looks at Abe]You know I saved your life now and you owe me now.
Abe: [looks at Sal then at Team Chuck and then sighs]Yeah…I know.
Big Sal: I’ll wave it off…[points finger in air]On one condition.
Abe: [look of curiosity]What is it?
Big Sal: Invite me to your daughter’s wedding.
Abe: Agreed…oh…ummm…I know I’m going out on a limb here but you can you do me one favor.
[The scene switches from Abe and Big Sal talking to later that evening as you then cut to Casa Bartowski where you see Ellie and Awesome in the living room. Chuck, Sarah, and Abe walk in ;eading Abe to walk straight to Ellie]
Ellie: [smiles]Hey dad
Abe: Sweetheart…come here...I want to give you a gift…actually an old friend of mine gave you this gift.[hands her an envelope]
Ellie: [curious look]What is it?
[Cut to Awesome walking and standing next to Ellie]
Abe: [smiling]Open it up and find out.
Ellie: [tearing up as she read it]Daddy…this is…this is…
Awesome: [chimes in]Mr. B…I think what my future wife is trying to say is this is awesome.
[Cut to Chuck and Sarah smiling]
Ellie: [hugging her dad]How were you able to book The Hotel Bel Air for our wedding…[looks at her dad]I tried to reserve a spot but they said they were all booked up.
Abe: Hey…you just got know people and besides…I know you wanted to get married there...specifically in the swan lake area.
Ellie: How did you find out about that?
Abe: Devon told me…he really must love you to not stop trying.
Ellie: [smiles and tears start to fall]Thanks Dad[hugs abe and then kisses Awesome]

[Cut to everbody congratulating the happy couple. Abe, Awesome, and Chuck are talking leaving Sarah and Ellie to talk amongst themselves]
Sarah: [hugging and smiling at Ellie]Congratulations…things seem to be going your way when it comes to wedding preperations.
Ellie: [smiling]It seems they are…[looks at Devon, Chuck, and Abe]…Oh before I forget…I wanted to ask you something.
Sarah: What is it?
Ellie: It would make me happy if you could be a bridesmaid at my wedding? [Cut to Sarah with an astonished look on her face]So…would you?
Sarah: [snaps out it]Oh yes…I would be glad to.
[The episode ends with Ellie hugging Sarah who has this look of sheer panic on her face as she realizes that she just agreed to become a bridesmaid for Chuck’s sister]

[Fade to Black]

Chuck Vs. The Download Part 2

[The episode opens with clips of what previously happened as Jax wheels Chuck into the medical unit with Sarah looking on. Casey gets the call that Abe is sent to the hospital Ellie works out leading to a situation in which it could not only compromise Chuck himself, but the entire operation. You then see Ellie seeing her father shot who calls Sarah asking where Chuck and Tucker are. Casey, Beckman, and Graham devise a plan to bring Ellie, Awesome, and Morgan to the warehouse without actually blowing their cover. Cut to Awesome and Morgan have a moment and then move forward to Ellie and Morgan have their own moment as they keep a resting Chuck who has had the original intersect completely removed. You then end with the scene of Beckman and Graham telling Jax that since the beta intersect is operational they no longer have use for Chuck. The scene begins the next day with the view point of Chuck as he gradually comes around in a groggy state of mind leading him his to see Jax, his family and friends all around him]
Jax: [smiles]Chuck…do you know where you are?
Chuck: [groggy tone]The Land of Oz[cut to everybody looking at each other and then Chuck looks up at everybody with both a goofy looking smile and laughing a bit]I’m on the yellow brick road off to see the wizard
Jax: [checks Chuck's eyes]Do you know who you are?
Chuck: [grinning]I’m the mayor of Munchkinland and you…
[points at Jax]Are The great and all powerful wizard…wow that was quick.
[looks and points at Ellie] Glinda, The Good witch
[points to Morgan who is drinking a grape soda] The Lion
[points to Awesome] The Scarecrow
[points to Sarah]Dorothy…pretty
[cut to Sarah smiling and then Chuck sees Casey leading him to freak out]
Chuck: [waving hands all over]Get away! Get Away! Get Away!
Casey: [gives a low growl]What?
Jax: [looks at Casey and then at Chuck]Chuck…what’s wrong?
Chuck: [points at Casey as he’s hiding under his blanket]Keep the scary flying monkey man away from me.
Sarah: [rubs Chuck’s arm]Shhhhhhh……Chuck…calm down...its all right…shhhhhh….I’m here. [looks at Casey] Step back you’re scaring him.
Casey: [Cut to Casey giving a low growl and mumbling under his breathe]I'll kick him upside his yellow brick road.
Chuck: [looks at Sarah]Is Toto with you?
Sarah: [looks at everybody and then at Chuck]He’s at home…go back to sleep.
[Chuck goes back to sleep and then Awesome speaks up]
Awesome: [looks at Jax]Question…what kind of drugs do you give him to cause him to have an awesome trip like that?
Morgan: [chimes]Another question…can I have some?
Ellie: [slaps Morgan in the arm and then looks at Jax]Is he going to be okay Dr. Jax?
Jax: [looks at Ellie]He’ll be fine…give him a couple of more hours to sleep off the anesthesia and he’ll be his old self again. [looks at everybody] Let’s let him sleep if off and he’ll be good to go home in a couple of days.
[Cut to everybody stepping out the room after thanking Jax and then pulling aside Sarah and Casey]
Jax: [whispers in a serious tone]We have a situation.
Sarah: [looks at Jax] What is it?
Casey: If it’s the hospital bill…she’s paying?
[cut to Sarah giving a look to Casey]
Jax: [gives an intense look]Worse… Now that the beta intersect is fully operational and safely secured in Washington Beckman and Graham feel Chuck no longer serves a purpose. With the original intersect completely wiped away…they want him eliminated.
[The scene ends with a wide eyed serious look from Sarah as she looks at Casey and then at Chuck through the window. Cue Chuck intro]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins in the conference room where you see Chuck, Sarah, and Jax in the middle of intense conversation as he goes over what Beckman and Graham told him]
Sarah: [look of disbelief]So after all he’s been through and so much intel he has provided us, they’re just going toss him aside just like that?
Casey: [looking at Sarah]Stay focused Walker…don’t get bent out of shape about Bartowksi…he knew what he was getting himself in for.
Sarah: [glares at Casey]Shut up Casey.
Jax: [breaks up the war of words]Calm down you two before one of you ends up right beside Chuck.
Casey: [giving an intense towards Sarah and then looks at Jax]So what’s the plan?
[cut to Jax about to say something when Sarah interrupts]
Sarah: [chimes in]I think I should take Chuck and disappear…it’s the only way he’ll stay alive.
Jax: [looks at Sarah and then at Casey]Agent Walker…Sarah…I don’t think that’s wise a decision to make.
Sarah: [talking quickly as she gives an intense look to Jax]Wise? Chuck is my asset…my guy…I ca..[catches herself as she was about to say care about him knowing Casey is listening intently]…I want him to stay alive for his family’s sake.
Casey: [gives a low growl]Walker…first breathe…secondly…you’re going to put everybody else associated With Chuck in danger as well if you do this. Remember, Fulcrum is after chuck too and you know they’ll put his family in harm to get what they want. Let’s just think this through.
[cut to Sarah breathing and composing herself]
Jax: [walks around thinking]With the beta version of the intersect in Washington safely guarded and knowing Beckman she’s would want someone with experience to eliminate Chuck. Someone who is cold…calculated…ruthless…someone willing to shoot another human being without even a second thought.
Casey: [chimes in]That would be me.
Jax: [a look of disbelief]You…you must be joking?
Sarah: [looks at Jax and then at Casey]Trust me…with a face like that do you think he’s joking?
[Cut to Jax a slight look of agreement and then to Casey who glares at Jax]
Casey: I was ordered to eliminate Chuck once before on New Years eve when General BEckman called about the new beta intersect being fully operational and when I had my chance at the beach, I didn’t take it. You would imagine Beckman was a bit upset after that, but she would soon give me the benefit of the doubt not only after my replacement, Agent Cameron Wilkes, nearly created an international incident, but also when her superiors…meaning you… apparently requested to have the new version uploaded into Chuck. My best guess is she could quite possibly call to order me to do it again.
Sarah: [quickly looks at Casey]Casey…if you get that call and obey those orders I swear I’ll shoot you myself if you even step foot towards him.
Casey: [smirks]I would like to see you try Agent Walker.
Jax: [standing in between the two]All right…cool it. Nobody is going to shoot anybody…[looks at both of them and point at the chairs] Sit down….now!
[Cut to Casey and Sarah giving each faces]
Sarah: [looks at Jax] What do you suggest we do?
Jax: [looks at Casey and Sarah with a smirk]Here’s the plan
[The scene ends with the camera slowly panning back as Jax sits on the conference table discussing with Casey and Sarah a possible strategy to keep Chuck alive]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins the several days later with the façade of Casa Bartowksi and cut to the courtyard where you see Casey, Morgan, Ellie, and Sarah with Chuck still with the white bandage around his head in between the two ladies. Chuck begins to speak]
Chuck: [looks at Sarah]Did I happen to say anything stupid while I was under?
Casey: [chimes in as he looks at Chuck]You always say something stupid…so who can really tell the difference?
Ellie: [looks at Casey and then at Chuck]No, you didn’t little brother
Morgan: [chimes in and looks at Chuck]It’s the beard isn’t it?
Chuck: [gives a weird look to Morgan]What?
Morgan: The reason you said I was The Lion…it was my beard right?
Chuck: [cut to Chuck giving Morgan a weird look]Huh?
[All of a sudden Anna’s voice is heard afar off leading him to panic]
Morgan: [frantic tone]Oh man…I didn’t tell her where I’ve been for the last several days…she’s gonna kill me…tell her you never saw me[runs the other direction]
[Cut to Anna walking up looking very angry]
Anna: Where’s Morgan…I know he was with you guys[glares at Ellie]
[cut to everybody pointing in the direction where Morgan ran off to. Chuck then looks at Ellie]
Chuck: So how is dad?
Ellie: He’s good…came out of surgery with little complications. Devon went to check up on him…I’ll go later on when I know you’re okay because I don’t want to lose another family member. We lost mom…now Tucker…and we almost lost you and dad.
[Cut to Sarah and Casey witness the heart to heart between brother and sister]
Chuck: [hugs Ellie]Hey sis…you’re never going to lose me…I promise you that and besides remember what dad used to say….it takes a lot to bring down a Bartowski.
Ellie: [smiling at Chuck]Yes it is…are you sure you’re okay?
Chuck: [waves her off]Don’t worry about me…go to the hospital and Check on dad…I’ll be safe here with Casey and Sarah as long as I’m not in any rolling cars.
[cut to Ellie leaving and then Chuck talks to Sarah and Casey]
Sarah: [concerned look as she feels his head]Are you really okay?
Chuck: [slowly grabs her hand and looks her in the eyes]I’m fine….with the exception of having a really weird Wizard of Oz dream, which by the way Casey, you truly make for a scary looking flying monkey. [chuck laughs]
[Cut to Sarah chuckling and Casey just giving Chuck an intense glare, which he sees leading him to stop laughing]
Casey: Are you done Bartwoski? If you are Beckman and Graham want to speak to you. So be at my apartment at 9pm…if you can be able to remember that. Oh yeah…Jax will be joining us as well.[Casey leaves and goes into his apartment]
[cut to Chuck mocking/repeating what he just said and then looks at Sarah. She smiles at Chuck and then hits him in the arm]
Sarah: That is twice you scared me…if you do that again…I’m going to shoot you.
Chuck: [looks at Sarah]Oh yeah…shoot me in order to prevent me from dying vt a computer virus that somehow got downloaded into my brain putting me in coma like state...excellent plan.
Sarah: We’ll talk about that later…you just go rest up and I’ll see you in a few hours.
[As both walk off, Sarah turns around and says his name]
Chuck: [grins]Yeah
[Cut to Sarah wanting to say something but just smiles leading to him to smile inevitably sharing a moment. The scene ends with Sarah heading out and Chuck entering his house to get settled]

[Commercial]

{The scene begins at Casey’s apartment where you see Casey, Sarah, and Chuck in the middle of talking with Graham and Beckman. They inform the both of them that Jax will be joining them shortly]
Beckman: [looking at Chuck]Mr. Bartowski…you’re looking well?
Chuck: [sarcastic tone]Thanks…despite having a bad hair day thanks to the head bandage…I’m doing great.
[Cut to Sarah chuckling and then cut to Jax walking in]
Jax: [walking up]Sorry I’m late.
Beckman: Glad you can join us…we would like to thank you for all that you’ve done in saving Mr. Bartowski’s life.
Jax: [forced smile]I’m just doing my job General. [looks at Chuck] How are you doing Chuck…Agent Casey…Agent Walker?
[Cut to all three acknowledging him]
Sarah: [looks at Beckman] Since Chuck no longer has The Intersect, what’s are next step?
Graham: [chimes in]There is no next step…Mr. Bartowski is free to lead a civilian life again. We appreciate everything he has done…he served his country proud.
[cut to Sarah patting Chuck on the shoulder]
Chuck: [disappointed look] Ummm…okay…then can I get paid the for the services rendered for the mission I was successful on?
Casey: [looks at Chuck]Are you serious?
Graham: [grins]I think we can possibly work something out that will benefit everybody in the long run. You'll be well compensated for you troubles.
Chuck: Thanks General and Director Graham…you two have been a pleasure to work with…I mean that…really. General…I’m miss you’re winning smile…[cut to the general who isn’t smiling]…there it is…and Director Graham…nice tie.
Beckman: [gives a sinister grin]Thank you son and be rest assured…you will most certainly get what you deserve…I guarantee you that. [looks at Casey] Major…I need to speak with you on a certain matter later and it’s a matter of importance.
Casey: [looks at Sarah and Jax] Of course General.
[Just when Graham says that Jax takes out a tranq gun, shoots Casey causing him to be slowly knocked out, and then grabs Chuck from behind leading him to freak out]
Jax: [looks at Graham as he points the gun at Sarah]I don’t think Agent Casey will be able to take you call General…as you can see he’s currently incapacitated at the moment.
Graham: [looks at Jax]What is the meaning of this?
Jax: I told you…I had a vested interest in Chuck and now…I’m taking my investment with me.
Sarah: [looks at Jax]Jax…what are you doing…this isn’t what was supposed to happen.
Chuck: [freaked out tone]What wasn’t supposed to happen? Sarah…what’s going on?
Jax: I’m sorry Agent Walker…you don’t see a double cross when you see one.
Graham: Jax…there isn’t a place you can run or hide that we can’t find you.
Chuck: Why am I always the human shield?
Jax: Shut up Mr. Bartowski…you’re going to help make me a rich man?
Sarah: [looks at Jax] What are you talking about?
[Cut to Jax shooting Sarah causing her to fall next to Casey]
Jax: [looking at the bodies of Casey/Sarah and then at Beckman/Graham grinning at them both]Catch me if you can.
[Cut to the view point from Beckman and Graham as they see Chuck being led away. The scene ends with the screen going snowy with both of them looking at each other as Graham gets on the phone immediately]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins in the alley across the street from the warehouse as you see Chuck and Jax in the shadows. Jax lets go of Chuck who then proceeds to back away from him]
Chuck: [backing up]What is going on…I thought you were a friend…I trusted you…Casey and Sarah trusted…my family trusted you. After all this time…you were using me.
Jax: [looks at Chuck]Relax…step 1 of a 3 part plan is complete.
Chuck: [confused look]What 3 step plan?
Jax: To make a long story short…what just happened back there was all for show for Beckman and Graham.
Chuck: So Sarah and Casey were in on it too?
Jax: [looking around and then at Chuck]Yeah and I must say they gave a heluva performance.
Chuck: So what’s step 2?
Jax: Get into the warehouse and upload the beta version of intersect into your head.
Chuck: [looking out the corner of the alley to the warehouse]Its impossible…there appears to be agents all around.
Jax: [looks at Chuck]I know…besides we’re not going that way. You see, before the warehouse became the headquarters for seemingly every agency you can possibly imagine…it first housed Section 8. Those people may know some of the secrets hidden within those walls but people like myself and your dad…we know all of them.
[Just as Jax says that he pulls a lever leading the brick wall behind them to separate revealing stairs to a lighted tunnel]
Chuck: [eyes widen]Awesome…[thinking out loud]…I really need to stop hanging around Awesome.
Jax: [looks at Chuck and grins]Let's go.
[As they enter the wall closes behind them and Jax quickly leads Chuck to wherever they’re going. Cut back to several minutes later as Casey and Sarah wake up leading to Casey to speak first]
Casey: [getting up off the floor]I hope Bartowski appreciates what we’re doing for him.
Sarah: [looks at Casey] Hey…it worked didn’t it. As long as Beckman and Graham were sold on the idea…then its all up to Jax and Chuck now.
[Cut to Casey to getting on the phone to Beckman to complete step 1. cut back to Chuck and Jax who are in underbelly of the warehouse. They walk several yards when Chuck speaks up]
Chuck: Jax…where are we going?
Jax: [looks around carefully]The virtual reality room…its part of the warehouse that is secretly hidden that nobody knows about. Its been a while, but there should be an elevator around here somewhere that will….ahh there it is.
[Cut to Jax pressing a button, the doors open causing the cobwebs, as well as, years of dirt built up to separate/fall]
Chuck:This won't end up frying my brain will it?
Jax:Nope...I can safely upload the beta intersect into your head by using a v.r. helmet. Instead of seeing v.r. images you’ll see the images on this disc that I was supposed to destroy. Don’t worry…the systems have been updated…I made sure to that thanks to several trusted associates.
Chuck: [looks at disc and then at Jax]Why are we still talking…let’s do it.
[After several moments they’re in the v.r. room leading Jax to sit Chuck down in the chair as he hands him the helmet. He loads the disk into the helmet, goes to the console a few feet away, hits a few buttons, and before he presses enter, he talks to Chuck]
Jax: Are you sure you want to do this?
Chuck: [grins]A wise man once told me…with great power comes great responsibility…I was meant to have The Intersect.
Jax: [intrigued look]Who said that…Emerson…Cummings?
Chuck: Stan Lee...one of the greatest comic book creators I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
[Cut to Chuck lowering the visor and signaling Jax who presses enter leading Chuck to being uploaded with the Beta Intersect. The scene ends with a shot of Chuck and Jax in the virtual reality room then the camera starts rising to where you see the warehouse on red alert]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins with Casey and Sarah entering the warehouse as they instruct the agents to apprehend William Jax on sight. After hours of searching in the warehouse and all over the city Casey and Sarah talk to Beckman and Graham in the conference room]
Casey: General, we’ve searched high and low…no sign of Bartowski or Jax…its like they vanished into thin air.
Beckman: Major…unless you want to be court martialed…I suggest you look harder.
Graham: [chimes in]Agent Walker...I too suggest you look harder also or you will be reassigned to permanent desk duty.
[Just then the floor opens up a few feet away from the conference table leading Casey and Sarah to walk over to and investigate. You then see Chuck being “held captive” by Jax rising from the floor]
Jax: [looking at everybody]Fancy meeting everybody here. Am I too late for the party or has it just started?
[As he says that agents flood the room leading Chuck to ‘freak out’]
Casey: [points his gun at him as he smirks]Let the fun begin.
[cut to Sarah looking at Casey as if to say you’re going a bit over the top]
Beckman: [angry tone] Jax…one way or another…you’re not leaving here with Mr. Bartowski.
Jax: [grins]Try and stop me.
Chuck: [looks at Sarah]Sarah…help me!
Sarah: [looks at Chuck]Hold on…we will…just stay calm.
Casey: I don’t have a clean shot…Chuck’s in the way…how about you Walker?
[cut to Graham and Beckman looking intently on in the background]
Sarah: Same here…let Chuck go Jax.
Jax: I would be careful if I were you…you wouldn’t want to hurt The Intersect.
[Cut to Sarah and Casey looking at each other as giving a small smile]
Beckman: That’s impossible…you told me The Intersect was completely wiped away.
Jax: It was…but I uploaded the beta version into Chuck’s head with the disk you sent me. I’m sorry…was I supposed to destroy it because at my age my memory isn’t what it used to be.
Graham: [scowly look]I suggest you surrender now and we might go easy on you.
Jax: [looks down and then at Graham]Sounds tempting and all…what else do you have in mind?
[Cut to everybody in the room pointing their guns at Jax]
Casey: Or…how about you take a dirt nap…I like that suggestion better.
Chuck: [freaking out]Can I make a suggestion?
Jax, Casey, and Sarah: NO!
[Suddenly Jax lets go of Chuck who then sticks his hands up in the air as if appearing to surrender, but as that happens all the lights instantly go out leading to absolute chaos and in the dark Chuck hears in his ear the voice of Jax]
Jax: Step 1 and 2 are complete son…now its my turn to complete step 3...take care.
Chuck: Good luck…and thanks.
Jax: My pleasure…give this to your father for me[hands him a small metallic object]
[When the lights turn back on Jax has disappeared with all the guns focused on Chuck who sees this and then proceeds to faint. You then see everybody scratching their heads as to how in the world a man can disappear in a room filled agents. The scene ends with Casey and Sarah checking on Chuck who is face down on the floor completely passed out]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins two days later at Abe’s hospital room with Ellie, Awesome, Chuck, Casey and Sarah at his beside]
Chuck: [smiles at Abe as he has his arm around Sarah]Hey old timer…how are you doing?
Abe: [looks at Chuck]Old timer…I’m still kicking…and if I ever get out of this bed…I’m going to kick your butt.
Ellie: Hey…kick his butt later...you still have to recover from the gun shot wound you suffered from that car jacking.
Awesome: [looks at Abe]Its awesome that you refused to go into the light.
Abe: [looks at Awesome]Son…you really need to expand your vocabulary.
[cut Awesome giving a look to Abe and then shrugging his shoulders]
Ellie: Listen…dad...you’ll be released in a couple of days and then you’ll be back at home in no time. Me and Devon have to go…we have our rounds to do. We’ll stop by to have lunch with you. Okay?
Abe: Gotcha…I’ll be here…watching what appears to be a young lady eating a sheep’s spleen for prize money on tv. [thinking out loud]Boy…television now a days.
[Awesome and Ellie leave with Casey, Sarah, and Chuck left in the room]
Chuck: Dad…Jax left me this before he disappeared…[hands Abe the metallic round object]…It looks something like what mom kept in her hope chest that Ellie still has to this day.
Abe: [looks at it]It’s a metallic coin with a number 8 in the middle. All the section 8 members got one.
Sarah: What does it mean?
Abe: [looks at coin and then at Team Chuck]Well...it meant that by giving it to someone it represents a return. In other words…by Jax giving you this coin he said to you he’ll be back…you can bet on it.
Chuck: [smiles at his dad and then looks at Casey]Casey…Jax said there was a 3rd step to the plan...was it ever completed?
Casey: [hands Chuck a file]Take a look
Chuck: [opens it and looks at the pictures] What is this?
Casey: The destroyed remains of the once new fully operational beta intersect. General Beckman called me yesterday and informed me of the news. From what information she was able to gather Jax apparently had a hand in building the beta version of The Intersect and there was a fail safe device that allowed him to initiate a remote timer using a lap top computer. They ttied to traced the signal to located his exact weherabouts, but it was pointles. There were no casualties that were reported but they could spin it into their favor.
Abe: [raising his fist in the air]Way to go buddy. [looks at Chuck]He saved my life more times than you’ll ever know.
Chuck: [puts his hand on his dad’s shoulder]He saved my life too dad…so we owe him a lot.
Sarah: [smiles at Chuck]Looks like we’ll be working together for a while now. You would be forced to see my face as we go on countless dangerous missions encountering bad guys that will try to kill you at every turn.
Chuck: [grins]Forced? It wouldn’t be so bad as long as I’m able to see your face.
[Chuck and Sarah have a moment that Abe and Casey notice. Casey then interrupts the moment by doubling over]
Chuck: What’s wrong buddy?
Casey: I need a doctor because both of you are making me sick.
Chuck: Do you feel left out…come here…I’ll give you a hug big guy.
Casey: Get away from me Bartowski or I’ll shoot you…I mean it.
[Cut to both Sarah chuckling and Abe laughing out loud and the episode ends with the camera panning back as Casey keeps Chuck from trying to hug him]

[Fade to Black]

Chuck Vs. The Download Part 1

[The episode opens with highlights of what happened previously as Chuck and Tucker find themselves in a locked mirrored room as they witness their did Abe get totured by way of electrocution. A deep synthesized voice gives Chuck all ultimatum in which he either produces the location of The Intersect or his father dies. Cut to Abe taking out two baddies and then escaping inevitably freeing his two sons, but no before calling for the cavalry by way of a CB radio. Cut to Casey and Sarah sharing a moment in which Casey says that Sarah is his partner leading to him getting a call about Josiah Gates’ extracurricular activities, as well as, finding out Chuck’s location thanks to Abe. Then the biggest surprise is revealed as Tucker Gaines is in fact the clone of Josiah Gates revealing to Abe that it was all planned from the pictures to being herded to Fresno inevitably meeting Tucker’s ‘mom’. Tucker shoots Chuck, Chuck sweeps his leg, Abe and Chuck escape leading them to be chased by the baddies to the edge of a cliff. Sarah and Casey arrive in the nick of time but Tucker shoots Abe seriously injuring him who then is about to shoot Chuck when Abe punches him as Chuck trips him causing his death as he falls to his rocky doom. The day is saved once again…or is it…Chuck collapses leading Jax to look at team Chuck as say that he’s crashing. The scene begins with Helicopter landing at the warehouse helipad and the cut to Chuck being wheeled into the medical facility with Jax in the lead followed by Sarah and Casey]
Jax: [turning around and looking at Sarah and Casey]You two have to stay here…you did your job…now let me do mine.
Casey: Come on Walker.[looks at Sarah and then leads her to the waiting room]
[As Jax is about to wheel chuck in Sarah gets away from Casey she calls out Jax’s name who stops to see what she wants]
Jax: [looks at Sarah] Yes…Agent Walker…is there a problem?
Sarah: [looks at Jax]No problem…[looks at Chuck]Take good care of him please…he’s important to me…us[cut to Sarah looking at Chuck and holding his hand]
Jax: [smiles as he looks at Sarah holding Chuck's hand]Don’t worry Agent Walker...[puts hand on her shoulder and leans in closer]…I’ll bring him back to you…I promise.
[Cut back to Sarah smiling as she sees doors close in front of her. A single tear falls leading to Casey to stand behind her]
Casey: [gruff tone]Walker...we got a problem.
Sarah: [wipes her face, regains her composure, turns around] What is it?
Casey: [looks at Sarah] Something happened when they transported Abe.
Sarah: Is he dead?
Casey: [low growl]No...the helivac that was supposed to transport Abe to the warehouse ended up at the hospital where Ellie and Devon work at.
[Cut to Sarah who has a serious look on her face as you cut to Chuck face as he’s being prepped for being the rebooting process by Jax and his team. Cue Chuck intro]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins with Ellie and Devon at the hospital drinking coffee after an early morning shift. You see them walking down the corridor having a conversation as they pass the elevators that lead to the helipad. All of a sudden, they hear a ding behind them leading Ellie to glance behind her for a second or so to see/hear two of their fellow doctors wheel out a fresh patient. Thinking its just business as usual, she turns around sipping her cup of coffee all-the while talking to Devon about their dinner plans later tonight when she overhears the two docs’ conversation as they stop for a minute as another doctor approaches]
Doc 1: [walking up]What do we got?
Doc 2: Male…55 years old…gun shot victim…entry wound on the upper extremities…possible damage to his lungs…pulse weak…hypertensive…blood pressure is 90/60.
Doc 1: [looking at Abe]Prep him for the O. R. stat…[looks at doc 1] What’s his name?
Doc 3: [looks in wallet]Abraham…Abraham Bartowski [looks back at Ellie]
[Cut back to Ellie who stops for a dramatic pause, drops her coffee, turns around and immediately turns around sprints towards the three docs wheeling Abe into the o.r. When she catches up to him she sees the prone, seemingly lifeless body of her dad causing her to freak outs as Devon stands by her]
Ellie: [freaked out tone]Dad! Can you hear me? [looks at the three docs] Was anybody else on the helivac…my brothers…Chuck…Tucker?
Doc 2: Sorry Dr. Bartowski…they weren’t on it.
[All three docs lead Abe to the operating room as Ellie stands there in shocking silence as she not only sees her father shot, but also fearing what may have happened to Chuck and Tucker. She starts pacing back and forth beginning to freak out when Awesome stands in front of her]
Awesome: [gives a comforting hug to Ellie]Its going to be okay babe…those guys are the best…they’ll fix up your dad and trust me…Chuck and Tucker are…
Ellie: [interrupts him giving a serious look] If you say awesome…I’ll knee you in the family jewels.
Awesome: [thinking of word] Okay…they’re okay…I know it.
[Ellie then rests her head on Awesome’s chest when she suddenly looks up at him]
Ellie: [look of concern in her eyes] Sarah!
[The scene switches from the hospital back to the Warehouse where Casey and Sarah are in the middle of talking with Beckman and Graham]
Graham: [serious look]The ball was seriously dropped on this one Agents.
Casey: [serious tone]What happened?
Beckman: Lines of communication were crossed up amidst the chaos during transportation out of Point Fermin Lighthouse. Needless to say we have a situation on our hands as Carmichael is now at a civilian hospital that Mr. Bartowski’s currently at.
[As Beckman says that Sarah receives a phone call and when she picks it up its Ellie on the phone sounding frantic]
Sarah: [looking at Beckman, Graham, and Casey while on phone]Ellie…hey…slow down…your not making any sense…breathe…what happened…what…I’ll be right there.
Graham: [looks at Sarah]Go….we’ll figure out what to do while you go and talk with Chuck’s sister.
[Sarah leaves for the hospital as the scene ends with the camera slowly backing away as you see Casey standing in front of Beckman and Graham talking strategy]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins with Sarah walking into the hospital and then cut to her meeting up with Ellie, Devon, and Morgan who got the call from Ellie about his best friend/brother. Ellie sees Sarah and she immediately runs up to her to hug her]
Ellie: [look of worry]I’m glad to see you
[Sarah looks at Awesome and waves leading him to wave back]
Sarah: How is your dad?
Ellie: [biting her fingernails]Still in the operating room…right now I’m worried about where Chuck and Tucker are…they could be hurt…or….
Morgan: [cuts her off]Hey…don’t say it…they’re all right…if this were a movie…
Ellie: [glares at Morgan]This is not a stupid movie Morgan…grow up and stop being such an idiot!
Awesome: Whoa babe…that was not Awe….
[Cut to Ellie glaring at Awesome who quickly protects his family jewels and then stands behind Sarah]
Sarah: [puts her hand on Ellie’s shoulder]Hey…calm down Ellie.
Morgan: [chimes in]She’s right…I was just trying to lighten the mood and what do I do…I make it worse.[walks off feeling low]
Ellie: [angry tone] This is serious situation Morgan…why…uhhhhhhh[throws hands in the air as she runs her fingers through her hair]
Awesome: [chimes in] I’ll go talk to the little guy.
Ellie: [looks at Sarah] How come you aren’t freaking out about this? You’re pretty much part of the family…you’re like a sister to me.
Sarah: [grins at Ellie] I am…I guess I’m still in shock about the whole thing.
Ellie: [smiles at Sarah] You know…since you entered Chuck’s life…his smile has come back…something that I never thought I would see again. You’re an angel and I for one would be proud to welcome you into our family.
[Ellie hugs Sarah who has this touched look on her face. Ellie then takes a walk to clear her head. Cut to Awesome who finds Morgan sitting at a table drinking grape soda]
Awesome: [sitting down] Are you okay?
Morgan: [looks down and with reflective tone]Yeah…we’re life partners you know…soul mates…Chuck and I.
Awesome: [giving Morgan a weird look]Morgan…do you want tell me something?
Morgan: [looks at Awesome]Oh…no I didn’t mean it that way…we’re brothers/best friends… the dynamic duo…Batman and Robin…you know. He’s my been my guide…conscience…always been there for me to bail me out even when I screw up. I would be lost without him because to be perfectly honest…he’s my hero. He’s always been there for me through thick and thin. He has a hot older sister…[cut Morgan looking at Awesome who is raising an eyebrow]...an old sister who loves him and is always looking out for her younger brother. I envy him.
[Cut Awesome putting his hand on Morgan’s shoulder and then you see Ellie in the background smiling after overhearing the conversation. Just as she turns around she sees Casey walking in talking to Sarah and as she walks up to the two of them two men in suits walk in asking for Dr. Ellie Bartwoski]
Ellie: [walking up]I'm Dr. Bartwoski....what’s this about?
[cut to Morgan and Awesome walking up]
Suit 1: Is your brother Chuck Bartowski?
[Cut to Casey looking at Sarah]
Ellie: [looking concerned]Yes…is he hurt…what…tell me?
Suit 2: We need you and your family to come with us.
[The scene ends with the two men leading Casey, Sarah, Ellie, Awesome, and Morgan to a limo equipped with windows that are aren’t able to see on the outside or inside heading off to the warehouse]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins with Casey, Sarah, Ellie, Awesome, and Morgan being taken to the warehouse, which the two men in suits give them a cover story of Chuck being transported to a special hospital dealing in severe head trauma. The conversation begins]
Ellie: [frantic tone]Is my brother okay?
Suit 1: He, along with a Mr. Tucker Gaines, was involved in car jacking with your dad being shot and left to die.
Morgan: Not good.
Casey: [slapping Morgan upside the head]Don’t make me throw you out of this car
Suit 2: [looks at Morgan and Casey inevitably chiming in]Anyways…as far as we know, the car jackers got desperate and decided to take your brother and Mr. Gaines hostage when cops arrived leading them to a wild chase. From what we could gather there was an apparent struggle inside the car causing it to become erratic leading it flip over.
[cut to Awesome holding Ellie’s hand]
Casey: Get to the point…what happened to Chuck?
Suit 1: Mr. Bartowski…suffered a sever head injury…he’s unconscious, but in stable condition?
Sarah: And Tucker?
Suit 2: Unfortunately, Mr. Gaines didn’t make it. His injuries were too severe. He died on the spot as well as the 2 other suspects.
[Cut to Ellie crying and being comforted by Awesome with Morgan sitting there quietly as Chuck and Sarah look at each other knowing the truth. The scene moves from the limo to the inside of the warehouse where they’re immediately guided to medical wing. When they get there, they are greeted by Jax]
Jax: Hi...I’m Dr. William Jax…head trauma specialist for Mr. Bortwoski.
Ellie: [looks at Jax] How is my brother doing?
[Jax guides them down a hallway to a large window where they see a number of doctors around Chuck who is laying down with wires attached to his bandaged head being monitored closely]
Jax: [breathes in/out]Its touch and go right now…with this serious type of head injury we need to proceed with caution. It will take some time and we have the most advanced state of the art equipment to save your brother’s life…so leave it in our capable hands.
Ellie: Thank you doctor…you don’t know how much this means to me…and for Sarah.
[Cut to Sarah looking at Ellie]
Jax: You’re welcome…in the mean time feel free to stay on this floor…its equipped with accommodations such as a kitchen…beds…soda machines…dvd’s…big screen tv…showers…whatever you need. I’ll leave my cell phone number with all of you.
Morgan: [points finger in air]Ummm…you wouldn’t happen to have an Xbox or the game call of duty?
Casey: [looks at Morgan giving a low growl]Come here…
[cut to Morgan hiding behind Jax and stopping Casey]
Jax: [looks back at Morgan]As a matter of fact we do…its near the big screen tv.
Morgan: [smiles] Sweeeeetttt! [looks at Soda Machine down the hall and thinks out loud] Double sweet…grape soda.
Ellie: [looks at Jax] Don’t mind him…he was dropped on his head as a child.
[Cut Jax chuckling then leaving to attend to Chuck. The scene with everybody except Morgan who is partaking in grape soda down the hall is looking at Chuck being taken care of]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins with montage of clips with Ellie looking at her brother as you see a combination of Awesome, Casey. Sarah, and Morgan keeping her company. You then cut to a short clip in which Jax tells everybody that he’s stable and will be in the recovery room shortly leaving everybody elated. He then takes Sarah and Casey aside to talk to them]
Jax: [whispering]The original intersect is completely wiped away. We’ll download the beta version of the intersect Beckman and Graham sent us when Chuck is fully recovered.
Sarah: [relieved smile]Thank you
Jax: [smiles] You’re welcome…Chuck is one remarkable young man to have you guys.
Casey: [smirks]Bartowski’s a fighter…besides…I’d kill him if he died.
[Cut to Sarah and Jax looking at Casey]
[Cut to Ellie sitting next to Chuck’s bed when Morgan walks up drinking a grape soda in one hand and holding a cup of coffee in another for Ellie]
Morgan: [hands Ellie cup of coffee]Coffee?
Ellie: [grins]Thanks Morgan...I appreciate it.
Morgan: [waves his hand]Nah…its nothing. It’s the least I can do for my best friend’s sister.
Ellie: [turns to Morgan]Listen…Morgan…I would like to apologize for what I said earlier…telling you to grow up…
Morgan: [interrupts her]Hey…I needed to hear that…it was a wake up call for me to not rely on Chuck so much.
Ellie: [grins]No…I was angry and for what its worth…I’m glad that you’re Chuck’s friend even though you can be creepy…a screw up at times…
Morgan: [gives a look to Ellie]Okay…are you trying to make me feel better or depress me even more.
Ellie: [Smiles]Sorry…after all he’s been through with Stanford...Jill...Bryce...I should thank you for being there for him and as much as I hate to admit this…
Morgan: [looks at Ellie]What?
Ellie: [looks at Chuck through the window]You’re part of the family…[looks at Morgan] and as Chuck’s hot older sister…
Morgan: [eyes widen]You were listening…
Ellie: [grins and sticks her hand out] Friends?
Morgan: [shakes Ellie’s hand] Friends…
[They both looking at Chuck lying their peacefully in his bed when Morgan puts his arm around Ellie]
Ellie: The no touch policy still stands
Morgan: [removes his arms around her]Gotcha[takes a sip of grape soda]
[The scene ends with Ellie and Morgan having a moment together as they watch Chuck sleep]

[Commercial]

[The scene begins in Jax’s office as he is in the middle of talking with Beckman and Graham about how wiping away the original intersect was a complete success]
Beckman: How is Mr. Bartowski doing?
Jax: [breathing out a sigh of relief]We were able to stabilize him and completely shut down his brain function in order to wipe away signs of the original intersect entirely. Thankfully the hard part is over…he’s currently in the recovery room…the tricky part will be installing the new beta version of the intersect and Chuck has to be awake for this in order to do it.
Graham: [serious look] I think we should reconsider installing the new beta version of the intersect in Mr. Bartowski.
Jax: [confused look]Why?
Beckman: The original intersect is no longer functional and with the beta intersect fully operational here in Washington we have no use for Mr. Bartowski. It stands to reason that the only logical choice is to cut our losses, which means Chuck must be eliminated.
Jax: [angry tone]I disagree…I have a highly vested interest in this. Its my call to make.
Graham: [looks at Jax] So do we Mr. Jax…its in our best interest and for yours as well that the files we sent you containing the new Beta version of The Intersect be destroyed. It’s a matter of national security of course…you should know that.
[cut to Jax forming a fist showing his anger]
Beckman: [nods]Excellent job…you are doing your country proud.[screen turns off]
[The scene ends with a look of seriousness on Jax’s face as he finds out from Beckman and Graham Chuck is no longer needed. The episode ends with a close up of Chuck in the recovery room with everybody around him happy that he is alive]
